Winterizing your automobile in Philadelphia

By November 16, 2015May 12th, 2021Uncategorized

It’s that time of year where there is frost appearing on the windshield of your auto when we wake up. We all have begun our home winterizing and taking the steps to make sure our home is ready for the winter. Have we done the same for our automobiles?  The change of seasons is a great time to remember to get the oil in our automobiles changed. It is a good idea to check in the glove compartment and make sure you have your current auto ID cards, a flashlight, pen, paper and tissues. Tire pressure on your automobiles tires should also be checked to ensure proper inflation. A set of jumper cables is also helpful not just for your car but also for someone who may be in need of a battery charge. You can be extra prepared and store a blanket, some water bottles and non-perishable snacks in the trunk along with an ice scraper and kitty litter in the event you lose traction driving your auto. Take a little extra time to allow your auto to warm up properly especially in the chilly Philadelphia area.  Schedule an appointment with your auto mechanic for an auto tune-up to ensure your auto is winter ready.   Ashbrook Frost on Car
